Welcome to my practice, I am happy you’re here!
Why Therapy?
Life sure is stressful, isn’t it? We are often pulled in so many different directions; it truly can make our heads spin. In the best of times, this can lead to increased stress that impacts our relationships, our ability to perform in school or work, and overall mental and physical health. Throw in a dose of anxiety or depression, and life quickly begins to feel overwhelming. Sometimes we need help challenging those negative thoughts and find ways to cope. Sometimes we need a little extra support. Sometimes we just need someone to hear us. That is why I am here - to help you live a life that feels authentic, healthy, and happy.
We are all unique individuals with unique experiences. I believe that this uniqueness is part of what makes humans so interesting, and my goal is to help my clients foster their sense of self in a world that can make us feel so lost at times.

I approach therapy from a Humanistic and Cognitive Behavioral lens. I believe that you are the expert in your own experience and my role is help you make sense of that experience and learn ways to challenge those pesky negative thoughts.
I believe that in order for therapy to be successful, there must be a strong relationship between myself and my clients. I am not here to judge you, I am here to support you (although I might push you to challenge those negative thoughts a little).

About Me
I received my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University in 2017. I am licensed in both California and Texas. I have worked in community mental health, family services, the Veterans Administration, and juvenile justice. I have been in private practice since 2021 and I love it!
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and pup, reading, watching horror movies, and trying to keep my garden alive (apparently I am much better with humans and animals than plants).
